Jason L. | In reply to @bearthematrix:matrix.org I have, but don’t know who to do it The bridge is intended to be used with your own Matrix homeserver (or Beeper). It's not something you can run to use with your matrix.org account | 14:56:04 |
Jason L. | Phone number registration.
Mac is required for the bridge. Without an iPhone you use your apple ID/email to send messages.
If you add an iPhone to the mix you can have your number registered for iMessage as well

Jason L. | Hey tulir - question about this bridge and its behavior. On my homeserver the bridge doesn't mark messages as read on the mac as it does with the Beeper copy of the bridge. The bridge config file is basically identical for both instances. Is this just an effect of wsproxy?
Also can one wsproxy instance handle multiple copies of the bridge running? Or would I need a separate wsproxy instance for each bridge | 16:12:08 |
Jason L. | (also read receipts don't work in the same way, the copy on my homeserver is showing the puppet has read when the outgoing message is accepted by the bridge while I'm pretty sure on the Beeper copy read reciepts are working as intended) | 16:13:00 |

Would somebody be able to explain how to run the server using the fork in this issue? I just want to fix rich links in beeper. Or is there an update I need to apply somehow to fix it? | 15:28:42 |

o0oo00o0o | Is anyone experiencing an issue on the iMessage bridge with Blue Bubbles connector where the option to edit messages to some iMessage contacts doesn’t exist? | 22:14:21 |
o0oo00o0o | It’s there in Element and in the native app, but not in Beeper on iOS | 22:15:00 |
o0oo00o0o | Only for some contacts, but not all | 22:15:28 |
roc | In reply to @o0oo00o0o:beeper.com Only for some contacts, but not all Does Beeper think the chat is SMS? | 22:43:06 |
o0oo00o0o | That was my thinking, but I don’t know how to tell | 23:44:50 |
